Profile Brief


Role: This position is responsible for overseeing the entire Distributor Management System for MT/GT, deepen market penetration, setting up Modern Trade & General Trade channels and building National as well as Regional Key Accounts. Overall responsibility for sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay on top of market trends and changes in order to identify new business opportunities
  • Ensure distributor compliance to agreed service levels & credit terms
  • Review distributor financial health (pipeline and outstanding)
  • Increasing sales and profitability of the brand by exploring new business opportunities as well as cultivating existing distribution points
  • Responsible for Channel Management in terms of establishing Performance Evaluation system & parameters, & monitoring both the Modern trade outlets & his team on those
  • Develop an effective and profitable deal / promotion strategy and plan
  • Provides proper Regional MIS/ competitive activities to HO, by putting effective system to capture the same from market & his/her team
  • Motivating the Sales team under him/her and instilling the Brand’s Vision & objectives at every possible opportunity
  • Accurate Sales Forecasting

Education & Experience Required:

  • Post Graduate in Business Management/Retail Management from a reputed business or fashion institute
  • 6-10 years of experience in a similar category
  • Strong Product knowledge of the Category/Brand
  • Preferred Industries – Organized Fashion Retailers/Ecommerce companies
